Travis Sigafoos is a Case Manager at Zimmer Law Group. He is a 2016 graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College (Saint Peter, MN) where he earned a BA with a double major in Spanish and Psychological Science with a minor in Neuroscience while graduating cum laude. While in college, Travis spent a semester abroad at the Center for International Studies (Toledo, Spain) sponsored by the Fundación José Ortega y Gasset-Gregorio Marañón. At Gustavus, Travis served as an academic assistant to the Spanish department, a Spanish tutor, the president of Sigma Delta Pi-Nu Upsilon, an elected Student Senate representative, and a research assistant in two neuroscience laboratories. Travis also worked as a bilingual marketing assistant for Open Door Health Center (Mankato, MN), a federally qualified health center, where he focused on marketing and outreach to Spanish-speaking patients.
Following graduation, Travis spent an academic year in Puebla, Mexico as a Fulbright-García Robles English Teaching Assistant (U.S. Department of State) with the Benemérita Universidad Autónoma de Puebla (BUAP). Further, he was involved with a start-up language school, Zaloa Languages (San Andrés Cholula, Puebla), where he taught English to working professionals. He also co-facilitated two workshops in a rural community for youth who were forced to repatriate to Mexico.
Before coming to Zimmer Law Group, Travis worked as an analyst at Prime Therapeutics (Eagan, MN). He is excited to be engaged in immigration legal work, as he plans to attend law school.
