Mariana Cervantes

DIRECTOR OF LEGAL SERVICES

Mariana Cervantes is the Legal Services Director at Zimmer Law Group and has been with the firm since February 2020. She began her immigration career in 2018 as an immigration paralegal and quickly discovered her passion for helping families navigate complex immigration processes.

Over the years, Mariana has developed strong experience with waivers of inadmissibility, consular processing, U visas, asylum, and cancellation of removal cases. Today, in her role as Legal Services Director, she focuses on designing and implementing organizational systems, workflows, and tools that support case managers, improve efficiency, and ensure clients receive high-quality, consistent legal services.

Mariana graduated from Hamline University in 2020 with a degree in Legal Studies and Criminal Justice, along with a Paralegal Certificate and a Spanish Certificate. As the daughter of Mexican immigrants, she has always felt deeply connected to the work she does. Whenever possible, Mariana travels to visit her family in Chicago and Guadalajara. In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her loved ones including her dog Tito.
