Mariela Ajpop

LAW CLERK

Mariela Ajpop is a Law Clerk at Zimmer Law Group. She speaks both Spanish and English.

Mariela earned her bachelor’s degree in political science at the University of Minnesota. Before coming to ZLG, she worked as an office manager at another immigration law firm in Minneapolis. Being in the immigrant community has allowed her to hear many different stories, experiences and challenges tied to the immigration process. As an activist, seeing firsthand how injustices happen has motivated her to attend law school at Mitchell Hamline in hopes of becoming an immigration attorney. In her free time, Mariela enjoys traveling back to Guatemala to see family.
