Adriana Lopez is a Senior Paralegal with Zimmer Law Group. Adriana began working as an immigration paralegal at another private firm in August 2011 and joined Zimmer Law Group in July 2014. Her specialties include working on waivers of inadmissibility, family-based petitions, consular processing, adjustment of status, petitions to remove conditions on residence, asylum applications, Special Immigrant Juvenile Status (SIJS) petitions, and naturalization cases. Her favorite cases to work with are applications for Cancellation of Removal before the Immigration Court. As a Senior Paralegal, Adriana is also responsible for overseeing the case work of other case managers at Zimmer Law Group.
Adriana’s interest in working with immigrants originated from her desire to work and meet new people in the Hispanic community. She loves helping people and through her work she has the satisfaction of providing her legal knowledge to her clients. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in May 2012 from Hamline University. Adriana double-majored in Legal Studies and Latin American studies with a minor in Spanish. She also received her Paralegal Certificate and her Spanish Proficiency certificate from Hamline University. Adriana is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is a native of Brooklyn, New York. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends especially with her kids, husband, and their dog “Buchon.” |
