Valeria Castaneda

ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Valeria Castaneda is an Administrative Assistant at Zimmer Law Group since April of 2026. Originally from Durango, Mexico, Valeria moved to Minnesota in 2015, when she was 12 years old. Moving to the United States was a process, and it was filled with many challenges. In the beginning, Valeria found it difficult to assimilate into the language and culture. Over time, she challenged herself and was able to overcome. Today, whenever she is presented with the opportunity to step up and help her community, she gladly does so by translating and sharing her knowledge and experience.

Valeria speaks both Spanish and English and graduated from Hamline University where she received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing Concentration. She is currently studying for the LSAT and plans to attend Law School once she gains experience in the legal field.

Valeria is fulfilled by knowing that she is a part of the bridge clients need to achieve their goals when obtaining immigration assistance. Having gone through the process herself, she knows how important it is to receive accurate information about their case as well as prompt communication. In her free time, Valeria enjoys Traveling back to Durango in the holidays, journaling, playing the piano, painting, and reading self-help books.
