Ending of DACA Program
In an administration marked by its hostility to the rights and concerns of the immigrant community, September 5th is easily one of the many lowlights. In a message outsourced to the anti-immigrant crusader Attorney General Jeff Sessions, the administration has decided to end the DACA program as we know it. Though this has been rumored for a long time, and feared since the election, the fervent hopes of those on the side of compassion have been dashed. As advocates for our clients, we are enraged on their behalf. However, in this time, we best serve our community with accurate information and considered legal advice.
