Gabriela Maldonado

Legal Assistant

Gabriela completed her studies in Law, Political, and Social Science at the Universidad Libre in Colombia, graduating in 2017. Since then, she has immersed herself in the field of immigration, showcasing her proficiency in areas such as humanitarian reliefs—U and T Visas, VAWAs, Asylums, and SIJS. However, her passion extends to every facet of immigration law.

Over the years, she has taken on diverse roles, serving as a paralegal, legal analyst, customer service representative, and case manager. Gabriela’s linguistic abilities shine as a translator and interpreter, with fluency in English, native proficiency in Spanish, and intermediate skills in Portuguese.

Her dedication to aiding others is evident in her work, having supported victims of conflicts in her home country and victims of various forms of violence in the US. During leisure moments, she finds joy as a dance teacher, hiking, and swimming, always eager to gather new experiences. In her role as a pet parent, she cares for two cats, Ginebra and Moro, along with her faithful dog, Rocco.
