Laurie Perez

SENIOR CASE MANAGER

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish & Portuguese Studies and Global Studies from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.  She was inspired to study Spanish and Portuguese after being a Rotary Youth Exchange Student to Bolivia during high school. Her undergraduate education led her to realize that she wanted to use her Spanish language skills to help people in need after graduation.  Immigration law was the perfect combination of her personal and professional skills and she loves the work. She has worked at two other immigration law firms in addition to ZLG.

Laurie’s husband is originally from Oaxaca, Mexico and they have four children.  She was personally able to help her husband obtain his residency and citizenship. Laurie is driven to produce high quality work because she understands that each client’s case is unique and very personal. She says, “I strive to always treat our clients as if they were my own family in the same situation.”

Laurie’s family is very important to her. She enjoys spending her free time with her children, going to the zoo, playing at the park, and learning new skills together.
