Sam Verner

ATTORNEY

Sam Verner is an associate attorney and has worked at ZLG since September 2019. Sam is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Sam earned bachelors degrees in English and Spanish from Hamline University in 2018, and graduated from Mitchell Hamline School of Law with his Juris Doctorate in 2021. Sam has used his educational career to focus his attention towards Immigration Law. He aspires to utilize his knowledge of immigration law to work for the benefit of his clients and society as a whole. He spent a month in Cuba in 2018 during his undergraduate studies to learn Cuban culture and the changing immigration laws related to the ostracized country.

Sam enjoys client outreach and hearing their stories. Sam says: “What I love most about the field of Immigration Law is the ability to completely change people’s lives. Some clients come thinking there is no hope just to find that we may be able to help them in some way. Hearing clients’ stories and knowing that we are making a difference in their lives for the better is what keeps me focus and enjoy the work I do.” When Sam is not working, he enjoys playing with his dog, Gracie, and playing the violin.
